Bach Minimalist
The characteristics of Bach’s instrumental music are very similar to those of the music of our time : extremely rhythmic, almost uninterrupted, heady…
Immersed in the heart of certain works by the German master mixed with those of minimalist music composers of the 20th century, the listener experiences the incredible kinship between styles and eras that are a priori very distant from each other, to the point of forgetting their origin.
In collaboration with the digital artist Jemma Woolmore, La Tempête explores the idea of a visual translation of such minimalist dialogues, through a video mapping installation in which the orchestra is immersed.
